The following agencies and companies are involved in this project and their roles and responsibilities are as follows:


  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Los Angeles District
    The Los Angeles District has overall management, contractual, and funding responsibility. The USACE conducts the environmental cleanup work on former military land under the Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) program.


  • Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)
    The DTSC is responsible for regulatory oversight for the State of California.

  • MARRS Services, Inc.
    MARRS is the primary contractor to the USACE and is responsible for all aspects of conducting munitions investigation and removal work.
